Hyundai Tiburon

The Hyundai Tiburon was launched in 1996 as a small coupe. The Tiburon name was given to the International version, while in South Korea it was known as the Tuscani. The car derived its power from a 1.6 liter or 1.8 liter engine. It came in two versions - an entry level and an upgraded FX version. In 1998, the Tiburon engine was changed to a 2.0 Liter engine. These vehicles were equipped with ABS, airbags and leather seats. The second generation was launched in 2000, equipped with the 2.0 Liter engine, ABS and was available with a sunroof. The production of the second generation Tiburon was discontinued in 2002.

The third generation Tiburon was launched in 2003. The new model was launched with the same four cylinder 2.0 liter engine and an optional V6 engine was added. The new Tiburon came in two versions - entry level and GT. Both the models came with side airbags and anti-lock brakes. The entry level model had 16 inch tires while the GT version came with 17 inch tires. In 2005, the Hyundai Tiburon got a new look. This time it came in three versions, GS, GT, and SE. While The GS version had a four cylinder engine, the GT and SE derived their power from a V6 engine. All versions were available with a five-speed manual system; however the GS and GT offered a coupe model with a four-speed automatic transmission system. The GS model was equipped with 16 inch tires, while the other two versions came equipped with 17 inch tires.

The 2007 Hyundai Tiburon comes in four versions, GS, GT, GT Limited and SE. The GS is powered by a 2.0 liter four cylinder inline engine. The other three versions are powered by a 2.7 liter V6 engine. The GS version comes equipped with a system that monitors tire pressure, fog lights, and a six speaker CD stereo system. The GT version is equipped with a remote entry system enabling one to enter the vehicle with the press of a button, as well as leather seats, leather steering wheel and 17 inch tires. Temperatures inside the car can be controlled automatically. The GT limited comes with all the amenities of the GT and ads red leather seats and a sunroof that can be adjusted with the touch of a button plus an Infinity music system. The SE has a sports tuned body, aluminum foot pedals and a Kenwood MP3/CD music system.
